Press Relase: July 24, 2007, Trumbull, CT - Barry S. Diamond, the President of Alliance Consulting LLC, a Trumbull-based biofuels development company, announced today the launch of The Renewable Energy Association of Connecticut (REACT).

"As new technologies and new methods for producing renewable energy come to the attention of consumers and business owners everywhere, we recognize it is time for companies in this industry to speak with one voice, whenever possible," explains Diamond. "As a Connecticut-based company, we especially believe it is time for that to happen here."

The Renewable Energy Association of Connecticut defines its Mission as: Providing member companies within the state of Connecticut with a uniform voice that promotes renewable energy solutions in all forms.

"We know that Connecticut has some great companies that represent several forms of renewable energy development, including solar power, wind power, and biofuels," Diamond went on to share about his vision for REACT. "This new Association will strengthen all of us. As we come together to promote our industry, we will all been seen as not only more viable, but as a necessary resource for helping consumers and municipalities reduce continually escalating energy costs, while also reducing harmful emissions that are damaging our environment. We all believe this is important work."
